
Seeking Full Time Play Therapist
Job Description
Play Therapist to work with children between three and twelve years of age (or appropriate adolescents), with a range of psychological difficulties and complex life experiences. Psychological difficulties include mood disorders, anxiety, aggression, learning difficulties and ADHD. Difficult life experiences include abuse, grief, adoption related issues, family breakdown, domestic violence and trauma. A professionally trained Play Therapist helps a child to increase insight, decrease internal conflict and increase resiliency, coping and emotional literacy. Play Therapists at Bluestem are expected to work closely with the child's parents/caregivers to use appropriate parent-child relationship interventions.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist:
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist needed for busy, multidisciplinary child development outpatient clinic.
Full time to half-time positions available
All outpatient - work weekends only by choice

The clinic specialized in neurodevelopmental disorders - including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, Asperger's disorder, OCD and others. The right candidate will have experience and training in these disorders as well as attachment, abuse, depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. The right candidate will be equally comfortable working with adults and with children, and will be able to be part of a treatment team that focuses on the recovery of the family as well as the individual child.
Possibility of purchase of shares and/or partnership available after five years
Must have: MD, board eligible or board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry; DEA license for Schedule II drugs; and license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota
